I was charged 7.33 PLUS APPLICABLE TAXES by Budget for a total of 8.485 per gallon. They said it took 2.0 gallons to top off the tank (yes, that's $16.97) when we drove only 20 miles since topping it off. This is a scam on several points.
ReplyDeleteThe closest gas station is 5 miles from the airport. They KNOW you can never be 100% topped off. Furthermore, the tank is not 100% topped off when you pick it up. And the final insult is charging almost 8.50 per gallon. Oh yeah, their definition of "full" is past the automatic shut off point at the gas tank.
